Security forces successfully thwarted a suicide attack carried out by the militant group Fitna al-Khawarij in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists.

According to security officials, the tragic assault led to the martyrdom of five innocent civilians, including three women and two children. The attackers attempted to target security personnel but were swiftly neutralized before they could inflict greater harm.

The outlawed Gul Bahadur faction of Khawarij terrorists has claimed responsibility for the explosion. Intelligence reports indicate that the Gul Bahadur group operates from sanctuaries in Afghanistan, allegedly under the protection of the Afghan Taliban.
