Pop superstar Britney Spears is said to be deeply anxious that her fragile relationship with her sons could be at risk once again following the upcoming release of her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s tell-all memoir, You Thought You Knew.

According to a report by Us Weekly, the 43-year-old singer has been working hard to mend her bond with her sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18, after years of estrangement. The boys, whom she shares with Federline, had recently started reconnecting with their mother — a development that brought Britney immense happiness and hope for a fresh start.

For years, Britney reportedly paid her ex-husband $40,000 per month in child support, a payment that was reduced when Sean turned 18 and completely stopped after Jayden reached adulthood earlier this year.

However, insiders claim the peace may be short-lived. Federline’s upcoming memoir — set for release on October 21 — includes shocking allegations about their marriage that could strain Britney’s relationship with her sons once more.

> “She’s been thrilled about reconnecting with her boys, but Kevin’s claims have created another emotional hurdle for her,” an insider told Us Weekly.

Leaked excerpts from the memoir have already stirred controversy online. Federline reportedly accuses Spears of several troubling behaviors during their relationship — including alleged infidelity, inappropriate encounters, and even drug use while caring for their newborn.

Sources close to Britney revealed that she already discussed the memoir with Sean and Jayden weeks before its publication, but plans to revisit the topic once the full contents become public.

Despite her fears, friends say Britney remains determined to protect her relationship with her sons and move forward, regardless of what her ex-husband’s book reveals.
